52,90,474 Beneficiaries Vaccinated Till Now In 21 Days As Per Health Ministry

Latest reports have been coming in from union ministry of health where Manohar Agnani Additional Secretary, Union Health Ministry press briefing has stated that India till now has vaccinated around 52,90,474 beneficiaries.

As per reports as on 5th Feb 2021, 6 pm, a total of number of 52,90,474 beneficiaries have been vaccinated for COVID19 and for which a total of 1,04,781 sessions have been held.

As per reports coming in a total of 3,31,029 beneficiaries were vaccinated today as said by Manohar Agnani, Additional Secretary, Union Health Ministry.

Manohar Agnani, Additional Secretary, Union Health Ministry said that we have completed 50 Lakh (5 million) vaccinations in 21 days. In the US it took 24 days, 43 days in the UK and 45 days in Israel.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
