CBI Issue Notice MP Abhishek Banerjee Wife And Sister In Law In Coal Scam Case

latest reports have been coming in from Central bureau of investigation which has served a notice to TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee wife in the coal scam case yesterday.

As per reports CBI has served notice to TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee's wife, asking her to join the investigation in coal scam case.

According to a tweet by TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee "At 2pm yesterday the CBI served a notice in the name of my wife. 

We have full faith in the law of the land. However, if they think they can use these ploys to intimidate us, they are mistaken. We are not the ones who would ever be cowed down he further tweets .

CBI has also issued summons to TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee’s sister-in-law Maneka Gambhir, in connection with the coal case

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
