Transport minister of delhi government Ashok gahlot has said that the delhi government has provided 13.5 crore rupees as a subsidy to dehities for purchasing electric vehicle.
To promote the use of electric vehicle in national capital delhi government has provided till yet 13.5 crore rupees. Delhi transport minister has informed this on the occasion of delhi dialogue commision's webinar, which is organise by the delhi government.
Kailash Gahlot has said that i appeal to the delhi people please travel in electric vehicles and establish a charging station on your premises.I have taken this pledge today and hope everyone does the same. "
He said that "i am happy and proud to inform you that almost 7000 electrical vehicle are registered till now and almost 13.5 crore rupees has sanctioned for 210 approved models".
