Delhi Police Shares Latest Updates On Chakka Jam Of Farmers In The Capital

Latest reports have been coming in from the national capital of the country New Delhi where Delhi Police PRO Chinmoy Biswal while speaking to ANI has said that wherever we had inputs that some groups or people can execute some incidents (during #ChakkaJam).

However preventive detentions were made in public interest. Some people had reached Shaheedi Park. They were removed from the road so that traffic movement could resume as per Delhi Police PRO 

'Chakka Jaam' call wasn't for Delhi but in wake of Jan 26 violence, we'd made heavy security arrangements. 

Security was further tightened at Delhi's border areas where farmers are gathered in large numbers. Security forces still deployed there as per Chinmoy Biswal, Delhi Police PRO.

No incidents took place in Delhi. Traffic movement is normal and the life is going on as usual here as per Chinmoy Biswal, Delhi Police PRO.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
