Efforts On By Indian Air Force And Local Police For Rescue Operations In Flash Floods

Latest reports have been coming in from Indian Air force where rescue operations and relief missions have resumed today early morning from Dehradun to Joshimath.

As per reports aerial rescue and relief missions have resumed with Mi-17 and ALH helicopters flying from Dehradun to Joshimath with disaster relief teams on board as per sources Indian Air Force.


Reports have been coming in from Uttarakhand police which has stated that the operation to rescue the people trapped in a tunnel is underway. 

Efforts are on to clear the tunnel with the help of JCB machine. A total of 15 people have been rescued and 14 bodies have been recovered from different places so far as per sources Chamoli Police, Uttarakhand.
