High Court Advocate And His Wife Stabbed In Broad Daylight

Latest reports have incoming and from Telangana where are High Court advocate and his wife was stabbed to death by some unidentified assailants today afternoon.

As per reports coming in a High Court advocate Vaman Rao and his wife were stabbed to death by assailants on Kalvacharla highway in Peddapalli district today afternoon. 

The Peddapalli police have sent the bodies advocate and his wife to City government hospital for the autopsy.

The local police have registered a case and launched a search to nap the assailants shifted to a and a case being registered under section 302 IPC.  More reports are awaited.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
