Indian Meteorological Department Predicts Rain In Northern Plains With Dense Fog

Reports have been coming in from the national capital of the country New Delhi as well as the adjoining areas of the capital city where dense fog has enveloped parts of the national capital.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted a minimum temperature of 5°C and a maximum temperature of 27°C for today. 

it is reported from the Indian Meteorological Department that the Visibility recorded at 0530 IST today at Bareilly, Lucknow and Gorakhpur was 25 meter each. 

Ganganagar, Patiala, Baharaich and Purnea was 50 meter each. Tezpur and Naliya was 200 meter each. Delhi (Palam), Amritsar, Sultanpur, Patna, Bhagalpur, Kailashar reported 500 meter each as per IMD.

Dense to Very Dense fog in isolated pockets over Punjab, northwest Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. 

Moderate fog observed in isolated pockets over Punjab, Delhi (Palam), Bihar, Assam and Tripura: India Meteorological Department

The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted an abatement of Cold Wave from Northwest India from 2nd February.

As per Indian Meteorological Department dense fog, cold wave and cold day conditions from east Uttar Pradesh and Bihar from 3-4 February.

It is expected that this weather will continue till first week of February as wet spell over Northwest and adjoining Central India.

During 3-5 February 2021 in Northwest and adjoining Central India and Bihar and Jharkhand 5-6 February.  It will have peak activity on 3 and 4 February over Western Himalayan Hills on 4 and 5 February in the plains.
