As per reports from Andhra Pradesh Ganta Srinivasa Rao, a local TDP MLA from Visakhapatnam North constituency has resigned from his post in protest against proposed privatisation of Visakhapatnam steel plant.
As per the leader Ganta Srinivasa Rao of TDP locals can't digest plant's privatisation. The plant has had losses as it doesn't have its own mines.
According to Ganta Srinivasa Rao, TDP the Chief Minister must put pressure on Prime Minister. He further added that I'll launch a non-political joint action committee as a move of agitation asking the Centre to revoke its decision.
