Rishi Ganga Flow Being Widened To Reduce Risk Of Flash Floods

Latest reports have been coming in from Uttarakhand where Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) jawans with SDRF and other organizations are working effortlessly to widen Rishi Ganga Flow.

As per reports coming in Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) jawans with SDRF and other organizations are working to widen the flow of the lake formed at Rishi Ganga in Chamoli, Uttarakhand by removing tree trunks. 

Earlier this month glacier burst have increased the volume of water release from the lake as per ITBP sources.

This widening of the flow of river will in future stop and reduce the risk of flash floods in the area.
