24,492 Total Active Cases Reported In Past 24 Hours

Latest reports have been coming in from the Ministry of Health and Family welfare which has stated latest data on Covid 19 cases in the country.

As per reports coming in India has reported a total number of 24,492 new COVID19 cases.

With total number of 20,191 recoveries and 131 deaths in the last 24 hours as per the Union Health Ministry.

The total cases reported till date now stands at 1,14,09,83. Total recoveries in India till now is at 1,10,27,543.
With total active cases of Covid 19 is at 2,23,432.  The total death toll is at 1,58,856.

Total vaccination of covid-19 done till now stands at 3,29,47,432.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
