Bangladesh 50th Independence Day Celebration In Full Swing

Latest reports have been coming in from the Bangladesh 50th Independence day celebration.

As per reports Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty, Hindustani classical vocalist who will be performing in Bangladesh Independence day.

According to him while speaking to ANI performing in Bangladesh is always special. Through contributions of Rabindranath Tagore, Kazi Nazrul Islam, Atulprasad Sen, Rajanikanta Sen and DL Ray, a relationship was built between India-Bangladesh, which is rare in history.

Dancer Mamata Shankar, who has been invited for Bangladesh's 50th Liberation Day celebration also added that going to Bangladesh at this point to perform at this historic event is nothing but God's grace. 

It's is a huge responsibility as our dance will be in a way India's tribute to Bangladesh.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
