C-4 Coach Of Shatabdi Express Catches Fire: Passengers Safe

Latest reports have been coming in from a fire has broken out in the C4 compartment of the Delhi-Dehradun Shatabdi Express today, due to a short circuit. 

The incident has happened near Kansro. All passengers were safely evacuated, no injuries reported as per Uttarakhand DGP Ashok Kumar.

The fire which broke out in the C4 compartment of the Delhi-Dehradun Shatabdi Express train today has been brought under control; all passengers safe.

Coach number C-5 of Dehradun-Delhi Shatabdi Express today caught fire near Kansrao Police Station. 

An investigation will be carried out to ascertain the cause of the fire according to Tarun Prakash, Divisional Railway Manager, Moradabad.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
