CBI Registers A Case Against Cadbury India And Central Excise Officers For Funds Irregularities

Latest reports have been coming in from The Central bureau of investigation which in a major step have registered a case against a renowned company of the country.

As per reports the CBI has registered a case against Cadbury India Ltd (now Mondelez Foods Pvt Ltd) and central excise officials.

The case has been registered in connection with alleged irregularities and corruption for obtaining license of Cadbury chocolate factory in Himachal Pradesh,under IPC 420 (forgery)&Prevention of Corruption Act.

As per reports coming in, in the year 2019, the company had settled a potentially protracted litigation through the Sabka Vishwas (Legacy Dispute Resolution) Scheme, 2019. 

We are yet to receive any formal communication in the matter from the authorities as per reports by Spokesperson, Mondelez India.
