Fresh Dates Of Maharashtra PSC To Be Announced Soon

Latest reports have been coming in from Maharashtra where Maharashtra Chief Minister have said that the PSC exam which were postponed will be taken within few days.

According to reports coming in Maharashtra chief minister has said that the last time when it (MPSC exams) was postponed, I'd assured you it won't be further postponed when next date is declared. 

Today it was postponed due to COVID. I assure you that postponement isn't for 2-3 months but for few days. Exam will take place in a week's time as per Maharashtra CM.

Those engaged in exam duty must test negative for #COVID19. It's better that people engaged in the exam duty should be vaccinated first. 

No one should have any doubt in their mind examiners themselves are infected. We'll declare the fresh date by tomorrow.

Don't want to play with students' emotions but don't want to play with their health either. This extra time which I'm seeking is only for better preparations for staff and other essentials. 

I appeal to students and parents to not lend a shoulder for any political gun: Maharashtra CM

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
