Instagram, MX TakaTak, YouTube will dominate influencer marketing, Buzzoka says

In India, the influencer marketing will be dominated by Instagram, MX TakaTak, and YouTube in 2021-2022, said a report released by Buzzoka, influencer marketing company. The findings are a part of the fourth edition of 'influencer Marketing Outlook', surveyed around 300 brand custodians including advertising agencies, marketers and brand custodians all over the country.

According to brand custodians, Influencer marketing will be dominated by Facebook's photo-sharing site Instagram with 94% of the market. While MX TakaTak, a homegrown short video app (52%), and YouTube(52%) will come in second and third place, respectively. 

The analysis explains that 45% marketers believed that MX will be effective for influencer marketing in tier 1 and 2 markets while 53% brand custodians feel Instagram Reels can not become an effective replacement of Tiktok in the coming year.

Ashutosh Harbola, founder and CEO, Buzzoka said, " As the world saw a phenomenal crisis, that literally broke the neck of advertising spends globally, influencer marketing saw similar declining numbers. But as times progress, we see a V-shaped recovery in the influencer marketing landscape and are confident the next FY year will be a fruitful one for the industry."
