Secondary Schools Reopens In Ladakh

Latest reports have been coming in from Ladakh where secondary schools have reopened after being closed for nearly an year due to covid.

As per reports schools in Ladakh have reopened for Class 6 onwards, yesterday, months after remaining shut due to COVID19 pandemic.

It is reported that the school staff have been following all the SOPs. We have reduced student's strength to 50% in each class. 

According to sources the students will have to come to school on alternative days and will have to maintain social distancing and all the Covid related norms.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
