Three Committees Ordered For Probe In Mumbai Power Cut

Latest reports have been coming in from Maharashtra where Energy Minister Nitin Rawat has said that when power goes out in Mumbai there is something wrong and bad head constituted and three committees have been ordered a probe.

As per reports coming in from Maharashtra, the state government has taken into cognisance of a media report, claiming Mumbai power outage was a likely Chinese cyber attack. 

Home Minister of Maharashtra Anil Deshmukh seeks a report from the cyber department over it.

As per reports Maharashtra Energy Minister Nitin Raut has said that when power went out in Mumbai, I had said that there was something wrong and had constituted 3 committees to probe. 

According to the Minister I feel media reports that have surfaced are true. Cyber cell will submit report on this by 6pm today to Home Minister Deshmukh.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
