Himachal Pradesh Government Starts Vaccination Drive In State

Latest reports have been coming in from Himachal Pradesh Government which has stated that according to a press release public will be kept informed of developments regarding supply of vaccines and subsequent start of vaccination for 18-45 yrs of age in govt sector. 

Such individuals may avail vaccination facilities in private vaccination centres on payment of pre-declared fee as per Himachal Pradesh Government.

As per reports coming in while all individuals eligible in third phase of vaccination are encouraged to register themselves.

It is clarified that free vaccination in Govt CVCs shall start only after supply of the order placed by the State is commenced as per  Himachal Pradesh Government.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
