India To Develop Low Cost E-Electric Vehicles Charging Points

Latest reports have been coming in from office of Principal Scientific Advisor which has stated through ANI that several Indian manufacturers are on board to make this device, with target prices starting at Rs 3,500. 

Formal release of standards will be done in next 2 months after completion of field and durability trials of sample products as per Office of Principal Scientific Advisor (PSA) to GoI. 

India will soon benefit from innovative low-cost Electric Vehicle (EV) charge point that can accelerate adoption of EVs. 

Low-Cost AC Chargepoint (LAC) allows up to 3 kW of power to be drawn charging eScooters & eAutorickshaws as per Office of Principal Scientific Advisor to GoI.
