Father Of Cycle Girl Passes Away From Cardiac Arrest

Latest reports have been coming in from Darbhanga Bihar where the father of Jyoti the girl who had last year made headlines by bringing her injured father to Bihar from Gurugram has died.

According to reports coming in father of 'Cycle girl' Jyoti has died of cardiac arrest yesterday in his home town Darbhanga.

As reported earlier Jyoti had cycled around 1200 km carrying her injured father from Gurugram to their native place in Darbhanga amid COVID lockdown, last year in May.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
