Five Persons Arrested In Assam With Large Quantity Of Arms And Ammunition

Latest report having coming in from Mizoram where a joint operation between Assam rifles and Police had taken place where in this joint operation five persons have been detained.

As per reports coming in through ANI, in a joint operation, Assam Rifles and police have recovered one 9mm pistol with magazine, one 9mm revolver, four grenades and 55 rounds of 9mm ammunition in the Kakichhua area today.

The police have also arrested five persons along with the recovered arms and ammunition.  Further investigations have been put in and the people arrested are being questioned for any other more information.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
