Ministry Of Health Shares Latest Data Of 50,848 New Covid Cases In india

Latest reports have been coming from Ministry of Health and Family welfare which has shared the latest cases of covid-19 in the country.

As per reports coming in India has reported 50,848 new COVID19 cases in the country.

While 68,817 discharges have occurred and 1,358 deaths have been reported in last 24 hours as per Union Health Ministry.

With the present numbers the total cases till now is 3,00,28,709.  With total discharges standing at 2,89,94,855. The total death toll reported so far is 3,90,660.  And the total active cases reports at 6,43,194.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
