41,806 New COVID-19 Cases In The Country In Past 24 Hours: Spike In New Cases

Latest reports have been coming in from Ministry of Health and Family Welfare which helps share the latest data of New covid-19 cases in the country.

According to reports India has reported total number of 41,806 new COVID19 cases in the past 24 hours.

As per reports 39,130 recoveries and 581 deaths in the last 24 hours as per Health Ministry.

According to the sources a total number of 3,09,87,880 cases have been reported so far.

A total recoveries of 3,01,43,850 people have occurred till now.  Active cases stands at 4,32,041.  With death toll standing at 4,11,989.

The total vaccination done so far is 39,13,40,491 (34,97,058 in last 24 hrs).

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
