Border Dispute Of Mizoram With Neighbouring States Reaches Rajya Sabha

Latest reports have been coming in from Mizoram where the dispute between Mizoram district with neighbouring States has paved its way to Rajya Sabha.

According to state minister Ashok Singhal the dispute was resolved that we will go to Rajya Sabha chairman over the role played by an MP and SP of Mizoram's district neighbouring us (in the violence). 

All the MLAs of all parties have assured the CM that they are standing behind him as according to State Minister Ashok Singhal.

MLAs from Barak Valley belonging to all parties held a meeting (in Silchar) and unanimously decided to support the CM's decision regarding Mizoram-Assam border crisis. 

11 out of 15 MLAs from the Valley were present at the meeting as per Guardian Minister for Cachar, Ashok Singhal.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
