Landslide And Floods Disrupted Lives Of People In Uttarakhand And Himachal Pradesh

Latest reports have been coming in from Uttarakhand where the flash floods which were triggered due to cloud burst have been bringing lot of choas among the residents.

According to reports a landslide had triggered by heavy rainfall, at the Dabrani region of Uttarkashi district, blocked the Gangotri national highway yesterday. 

According to the district administration Border Roads Organisation (BRO) is trying to restore the highway. 

However rescue operation is underway in Boh Valley in Kangra district after massive landslide and floods in HimachalPradesh.

Several houses have been damaged due to flash floods in Chaitru village, Dharamshala.

According to recent sources the river has changed its course and moved towards the road. A number of points on the road have been damaged. Restoration work is underway," says Sushil Dadwal, Executive Engineer, PWD while speaking to ANI.
