Landslides Due To Heavy Rains Disrupts Traffic Movement In West Bengal

Latest reports have been coming in from West Bengal where the lives of people have become choatic due to heavy rains which have disrupted the normal life of the people.

According to reports coming in from West Bengal where heavy rains have trigger a landslide on National Highway (NH)-10 near Kalimpong.

This landslide on the national highway NH10 have followed the road as it was blocked and traffic movement was affected. 

However the administration and the paramedical forces has pressed into action to know the latest situation arising out of the landslide.  This NH-10 connects Gangtok (Sikkim) with Siliguri (West Bengal). 

The administration has been clearing the road so that the movement of traffic could start.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
