Prime Minister Modi Virtually Met Chief Ministers Of North Eastern States To Review Covid Situation

Latest reports have been coming in from Prime Minister Narendra Modi office which has stated that today PM Narendra Modi had virtually interacted with the Chief Ministers of North eastern states.

According to reports PM Modi today interacted with CMs of North-Eastern states on COVID19 situation. 

As per reports the interaction was attended by CMs of Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and Assam. 

The Chief Ministers has thanked the PM for timely action in handling the pandemic according to reports pouring in from PMO.

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi has emphasized on importance of testing, tracing, tracking and vaccination. 

Union Health Secretary gave overview of Covid cases in country and discussed high positivity rate in some North Eastern states. 

The Prime Minister briefed about steps taken to boost medical oxygen supply and gave overview of progress of vaccination.

Noting the fast mutating nature of virus, PM advised strict monitoring of mutation and keep track of all variants. 

He informed experts are studying mutations and their impact. In such scenario, prevention and treatment are critical, he said emphasizing covid appropriate behaviour.
