Rains Took 136 Accidental Lives In Maharashtra In 24 Hours

Latest reports have been coming in from economic state of the country Maharashtra where Maharashtra Minister of Relief and Rehabilitation in a media interface has said that since yesterday around 136 deaths have been reported due to accidents.

Maharashtra Minister of Relief and Rehabilitation, Vijay Wadettiwar has that 136 accidental deaths reported in Maharashtra till last evening due to rain and other monsoon-related incidents.

As reported earlier Maharashtra have witnessed indecent rains in the past one month and water logging has been reported from various parts of the state.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
