Rajya Sabha MP Binoy Viswam Moves Privileged Motion Over Non Availability Of Oxygen

Latest reports have been coming in from Rajya Sabha where motion has been moved by CPI MP's Minister of state Bharti Pravin Pawar had said that no one had died because of non availability of oxygen.

According to reports coming in CPI Rajya Sabha MP Binoy Viswam moves privileged motion notice against an answer in the Rajya Sabha by Minister of State Bharati Pravin Pawar that no one has died because of non-availability of oxygen.

As per reports Congress MP Manickam Tagore has given adjournment motion notice on the issue of discussion about prolonged agitation of farmers' against anti farmers Bill and direct government to withdraw it.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
