40,120 Total Cases Reported In The Country In Past 24 Hours Could Be Steps Of Third Wave

Latest reports having coming in from Ministry of Health and Family Welfare which has triggered the latest data of covid-19 New cases in the country in the past 24 hours.

According to reports India has reported a total number of 40,120 new COVID19 cases in the country.

Around 42,295 recoveries and 585 deaths have also been reported in the last 24 hrs, as per Union Health Ministry.

Till now India has reported total 3,21,17,826 cases.  With total recoveries of 3,13,02,345.  The active cases now stands at 3,85,227.  And the death toll reported is 4,30,254.

Reports are also coming in from Karnataka where health ministry has reported that from August 1-11, 543 children between 0 to 19 years of age group got infected due to COVID19. 

However no deaths were reported. Most children were either asymptomatic or had mild symptoms according to Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP).

India has witnessed a total vaccination of 52,95,82,956.  With 57,31,574 vaccination conducted in last 24 hrs.
