Indian Tokyo 2020 Paralympics Team Leaves For Tokyo

Latest reports have been coming in from the national capital of the country New Delhi where the Indian contingent arrive at the airport ahead of their departure for Tokyo 2020 Paralympics.

According to Tek Chand, Javelin thrower while speaking to ANI said that I will try my best to win a medal. There were few hurdles but it is part of life. 

I overcame them. Today, I'm going to play for the country.  Far this is a big moment for the physically handicapped people who have been a part of para Olympics team of India which will represent the country in Para Olympics

Vinod Kumar, Discus thrower while speaking to ANI has said that I will be playing on 29th August. We will try to win as many medals as possible in Paralympics . 

This is for the first time that 54 players are going to the games. We shouldn't be disabled from mind and heart.

According to reports coming in Deepa Malik, President Paralympic Committee of India has said that I'm delighted. I'm in a different role as I'm not playing this year but it is a different feeling to work alongside para-athletes. 

The team looks in great shape. I wish them all the best for the games.
