Indore Declared As India's First Water Plus City

Latest reports have been coming in from the cleanest city of the country Indore which was earlier declared one of the most cleanest city in the Country in a survey in India.

As per reports coming in from Madhya Pradesh where Madhya Pradesh economic City Indore has been declared as India's first water plus City.

According to reports Madhya Pradesh, Indore has been declared as India's first 'water plus' city.

As per sources Indore Municipal Commissioner Pratibha Pal yesterday while speaking to media has said that Indore carried out survey and halted 7,000 outfalls of greywater that went in rivers, drains. 

We completed all criteria to gain this achievement," said the commisioner.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
