According to reports coming in National Commission for Protection of Child Rights writes to Facebook, asking to remove a video posted on Congress MP Rahul Gandhi's Instagram profile.

According to sources this post of Congress MP Rahul Gandhi is revealing identify of a 'minor girl victim's family' and to take 'appropriate action' against his profile for violating JJ Act.

NCPCR asks Facebook India (trust and safety) head Satya Yadav to appear before it at 5 pm on Aug 17 via video conference along with details of action taken against Congress MP Rahul Gandhi's Instagram profile for posting a video revealing identify of a minor girl victim's family.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
