SIT To Investigate Three Cases Reported At Vasant Kunj

Latest reports have been coming in from the national capital of the country New Delhi where Delhi Police has reported that an SIT of Crime Branch has been constituted to investigate three cases registered at Police Station Vasant Kunj (North).

This was done regarding violence in JNU Campus in Jan 2020 as according to MoS Home Nityanand Rai in Lok Sabha.

The investigation conducted inter-alia includes the examination of witnesses, collection and analysis of footage and examination of identified suspects. 

As reported by Delhi Police, no arrest has been made in these cases according to MoS Home Nityanand Rai in Lok Sabha.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
