Union Ministry Of Health And Family Welfare Shares Latest Data On Covid-19 In The Country

Latest reports have been coming in from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare which has shared the latest data for covid-19 cases in the country in past 24 hours.

According to reports India has reported 38,353 new cases in last 24 hours in the country.  With this new tally now active caseload currently stands at 3,86,351.

This number is the lowest number in the past in 140 days. The recovery rate now has risen to 97.45% according to Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

According to sources more than 53.24 crore (53,24,44,960) vaccine doses have been provided to States and Union Territories so far.   

And a further 72,40,250 doses are in the pipeline. Of this, the total consumption including wastages is 51,56,11,035 doses, as per data available at 8 am today according to Union Health Ministry. 

More than 2.25 Cr (2,25,03,900) balance and unutilized COVID Vaccine doses are still available with the various States and Union Territories and private hospitals to be administered.
