41,965 New Covid 19 Cases Reported In The Country In Past 24 Hours

Latest reports have been coming in from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare which has shared the latest data of covid-19 cases reported in the country.

According to reports India has reported a total number of 41,965 new COVID19 cases in the past 24 hours in the country.

As per reports 33,964 recoveries and 460 deaths have been reported in last 24 hours, as per Health Ministry.

With these new cases a total number of 3,28,10,845 cases have been reported in the country.  The total active cases now stands at 3,78,181.  

With these total recoveries are upto now are at 3,19,93,644.  And the total death toll is at 4,39,020.

And the country has conducted a total vaccination of 65,41,13,508.  And 1,33,18,718 people have been vaccinated in the last 24 hours.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
