Latest reports have been coming in from Assam where a major accident has occurred in Jorhat where a boat has capsized.
As per reports the coming in from Jorhat boat accident as per the state's report, 50 people have been rescued and 70 are still missing, says NDRF Deputy Commandant P. Srivastava while speaking to ANI.
As per reports from Assam coming in rescue operation continues in Brahmaputra river in Jorhat where two boats collided and one of them capsized yesterday.
According to NDRF official around 70 passengers were on the boat that capsized. A woman has died.
However the operation continued throughout the night. It is still underway as per an NDRF official.
