Ludhiana Court Issued Arrest Warrant Against AAP MP Sanjay Singh In Defamation Case

Latest reports have been coming in from Punjab where Ludhiana court issued arrest warrant against AAP MP Sanjay Singh in defamation case.

According to reports coming in this defamation case has been filed by SAD leader Bikram Majithia. He didn't appear before the court on Monday. 

The Court has directed police to arrest and present him before it before September 17 as per Majithia’s lawyer Daman Deep.

According to reports from Ludhiana, Punjab AAP MP Sanjay Singh on defamation case filed by SAD leader Bikram Singh Majithia had to attend the ‘terahvin’ (post-death ritual) of my grandfather due to which I didn't appear before the court. I said the same in court. The court has granted me bail:

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
