Latest reports have been coming in from Indian Air Force which is celebrating its infantry day according to sources coming n from Indian Air Force.

As per reports and sources from Indian Air Force which has stated that marking a significant landmark in India's military history by commencing induction of troops in defence of Kashmir valley, Dakotas of No.12 Sqn of then RIAF landed the 1st boots on ground- 1 Sikh, Indian Army-at Srinagar on 27 Oct 1947. 

Today's date according to latest reports this day is marked as the Infantry Day according to the Indian Air Force.
