As per reports coming in from Punjab the family members and relatives of Lakhbir Singh, who was killed at Singhu near Delhi-Haryana border, says he was an addict and lured to Singhu border.
According to Lakhbir father in law he was lured in to going there. It should be probed and he must get justice, his father-in-law said at his home in Taran Tarn yesterday.
According to Raj Kaur, sister of labourer Lakhbir Singh he took Rs 50 and said he was going for work in Chabal and will return after 7 days.
Raj Kaur, sister of labourer Lakhbir Singh said she thought he went to work there. He was not such a person (to commit desecration of Guru Granth Sahib). The perpetrators must be punished.
He is survived by his wife, three daughters with the youngest being 8 years old and the eldest being 12-year-old.
His wife left him 5-6 years ago and lives separately according to ASI Kabal Singh while speaking to ANI says that investigation is going on and all the efforts are going on to nab the culprits.
