Ministry Of Health And Family Welfare Shares Latest Reports Of Covid-19 In India

Latest reports have been coming in from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare which has declared the latest data of covid-19 reported cases in the past 24 hours in the country.

According to reports coming in India has reported a total number of 23,529 new COVID19 cases, 28,718 recoveries and 311 deaths in last 24 hours, as per Union Health Ministry.

Out of 23,529 new #COVID19 cases and 311 deaths across India only Kerala has reported 12,161 cases and 155 deaths were reported.

Now the tally of total number of active gases has gone up to 2,77,020.  And the total cases now stands at 3,37,39,980.  And the total recoveries are at 3,30,14,898.  The death toll reported so far is 4,48,062.

However, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has did a total vaccination of 88,34,70,578.  Out of this 65,34,306 have been reported in last 24 hrs.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
