Preparations Are Being Done For Haj Pilgrimage By Government Of India

Latest reports have been coming in from Ministry of Minority Affairs which has stated through its Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi that selection process of Haj pilgrims will be done according to complete vaccination with both the doses.

According to reports coming in the Haj Pilgrimage will be done in accordance to the guidelines and criteria by Indian and Saudi Arabia Govts during Haj 2022. 

However it is expected that an official announcement of Haj 2022 will be made in the first week of November according to Ministry of Minority Affairs. 

The applications of around 3000 women who had applied for Haj 2020 and 2021 under without 'Mehram' (male companion) category will be eligible for Haj 2022.

This can only be done if they want to perform Haj next year according to Union Minister for Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi.

The Minister further adds that all the women under without 'Mehram' category will be exempted from the lottery system.

The Union Minister for Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi added while chairing Haj review meeting in Delhi on Friday.
