Terrorist Encounter Underway In Jammu And Kashmir

Latest reports have been going on coming in from Jammu and Kashmir where an encounter is in progress in Anantnag. 

According to reports coming in an encounter is being carried out by the police and security forces in Anantnag area of Jammu and Kashmir.

As per reports coming in from Kashmir zone police One unidentified terrorist has been killed. One policeman injured. Operation in progress. Further details shall follow: Kashmir Zone Police

According to reports coming in from Jammu and Kashmir One unidentified terrorist has been killed and one policeman have also been injured in an encounter at Khagund, Verinag area of Anantnag. 

According to the security forces the encounter operation is still in progress and more reports have been awaited.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
