Three Terrorists Killed In An Encounter In Jammu And Kashmir

Latest reports have been coming in from Jammu and Kashmir where Jammu and Kashmir zone police has neutralised three terrorists of LeT (TRF) in the Shopian encounter. 

However the identification of the terrorists are being ascertained. Incriminating materials including arms and ammunition have been recovered. 

However the security have started search operations in the region. Further details shall follow according to Kashmir Zone Police

Yesterday in Shopian encounter, in  Jammu and Kashmir out of three killed terrorists, one terrorist has been identified as Mukhtar Shah of Ganderbal, who shifted to Shopian after killing one street hawker Virendra Paswan of Bihar.

The security forces have launched two operations in Shopian yesterday evening on a credible input. Encounter started at Tulran Shopian. 

The security forces have trapped 3-4 terrorists. At Kheripora Shopian another operation launched and a contact expected soon. This is the 3rd encounter in last 24 hrs according to Jammu and Kashmir DGP Dilbagh Singh.

According to reports coming in from Jammu and Kashmir an encounter and search operation is underway in Dehra Ki Gali (DKG) area, Rajouri adjoining to Poonch sector where one JCO and four soldiers had lost their lives during a counter-terror operation on Monday.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
