Union Home Minister Inaugurates Srinagar-Sharjah International Flight

Latest reports have been in coming in from Jammu and Kashmir where Union Home Minister inaugurates Srinagar-Sharjah international flight. 

According to the reports Union Home Minister in a statement has said that we declare it open from today. This will help in boosting tourism and bring more investment in the Union Territory.

The Union Minister further adds that we also declares that the policy on Helicopter Operations in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir open from today.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
