ATS Apprehends Three Persons With 120 Kg Heroin Worth Rs 600 Crores

Latest report happen coming in from Gujarat where Harsh Sanghavi Gujarat Home Minister in an tweet has said that Gujarat ATS nabbed around 120 kg drugs.

According to the reports Harsh Sanghavi, Gujarat Home Minister addressed a presser at 11 am, today.

According to the sources ATS apprehended three persons with 120 kg heroin worth Rs 600 crores. 

Preliminary investigation revealed that the consignment of heroin was brought by the accused via sea route where they had received a delivery from a Pakistani boat according to DGP Ashish Bhatia.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
