Latest reports have been coming in from the world of cricket where in a major development custom department have seized some of the belongings of Hardik Pandya while he was returning from Dubai.

According to reports coming in Customs Department has seized two wrist watches worth Rs 5 crores of cricketer Hardik Pandya.

As per sources this had happened when the cricketer Hardik Pandya was returning from Dubai. The cricketer allegedly did not have the bill receipt of the watches according to Mumbai Customs Department.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
