PM Tried To Bring Agriculture Reforms: Agriculture Minister NS Tomar

Latest reports have been coming in from the Agriculture Minister NS Tomar who have stated that PM had tried to bring changes in agriculture with these reforms. 

But due to some situations, some farmers objected. When we took path of discussions and tried to explain to them, we couldn't succeed. 

So on Prakash Parv PM decided to repeal farm laws. It is a welcome step according to Agriculture Minister.

He has also said that a committee will be formed on Zero Budget Farming, MSP, crop diversification issues. 

The committee will have Centre, State Govts, farmers, scientists, economists. It will submit a report over making MSP effective and transparent and other issues according to NS Tomar.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
