    Punjab Advocate General (AG) APS Deo Says Navjot Singh Sidhu Obstructing Government Functioning

    Latest reports have been coming in from Punjab where Punjab advocate general (AG) APS Deol, who has previously resigned from his post on Nov 1, in a statement has said that Navjot Singh Sidhu is obstructing the functioning of the government and the office of AG.

    According to reports coming in the Punjab advocate general (AG) APS Deo has added that Navjot Singh Sidhu's repeated utterances seek to derail the earnest efforts of the State govt to ensure justice in the drugs matter and the sacrilege cases. 

    Sidhu is spreading misinformation to gain political advantage over his political colleagues according to AG added in the statement.

    There is a concerted attempt by vested interests to malign the functioning of Congress Party.

    This has been done in view of upcoming elections in Punjab for their selfish political gain by politicising the constitutional office of the Advocate General of Punjab, APS Deol further added in statement.
