According to reports coming in joint parties of Baramulla Police, Army 29 RR & 2nd Bn SSB while on patrolling established MVCP/naka at Wussan Pattan.
As per reports three people were spotted moving towards the naka party in suspicious manner. On spotting the Naka.
According to Kashmir Police they made a run for it but were apprehended.
These individuals were identified as Asif Ahmad Reshi, Mehrajudin Dar and Faisal Habib Lone, all residents of Gund Jehangir, Hajin, Bandipora.
They were found to be OGWs/terror associates of LeT/TRF involved in Palhalan grenade attack that took place on 17.11.2021 as per reports coming in from Kashmir Police.
Two grenades were recovered. Investigation further revealed that accused persons were given instructions by the terrorists across the border.
The terrorist aim behind the attacks was to create an atmosphere of fear and chaos and to draw reaction against Kashmiri Youth outside UT according to Kashmir Police.
